The department of Electrical Engineering (EE) is the largest department at IAUN, with a diverse program of nearly 500courses per semester and 50+ faculty members, preparing 2700+ undergraduate and 850+ graduate students.The EE Department is housed primarily in the Faculty of Engineering,building #1. The independent building of EE department was completed in 2008.

The EE Department has a long tradition of excellence in teaching and research. This department offers the following degree programs:

The aim of these laboratories are to more understand the concepts presented in the theoretical courses and to learn working with technical equipment. Associations

The Scientific Association of Electrical Engineering (SAEE) was founded in IAUN at 1998 as one of the oldest associations of IAUN. The main goals of SAEE are as follows:

  • To establish mutual relation between the university and students;
  • To satisfy the scientific and technical requirements of students;
  • To assist students in the contexts of educational, research, and guild issues;
  • To Link with scientific associations and institutes inside and outside the country.

The department of Electrical Engineering offers the Master of Science (MS) program with majors in electrical engineering. The department’s educational programs concern a wide range of areas from Electric Power Engineering and Telecommunications to Bioelectric and Robotic.Admission for MS program is through nationwide entrance exam. Also, top students can apply withoutentrance exam.The EE department offers following MSdegrees:

Our curriculum builds on foundational mathematics and science courses with studies of analysis and design in electrical engineering. In addition, the variety of specialized subjects the students can investigate through elective coursework ensures a flexible education suited to their particular interests.

The department of Electrical Engineering offers the Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) programs with majors in electrical engineering. The department’s educational programs concern a wide range of areas from Electric Power Engineering and Telecommunications to Bioelectric. The EE department presents both PhD and PhD by research programs. Admission for PhD program is through nationwide entrance exam and scientific interview while admission for PhD by research program is through scientific interview.
