About Deputy of Cultural and Students Affairs

Deputy of Cultural and Students Affairs at Islamic Azad University is in charge of policy making, planning and organizing of students’ welfare and their living and psychological affairs. The Deputy is the trustee of managing cultural activities at faculty members, staff and students’ level as well as supervising and supporting these activities.

Some other responsibilities of this deputy include supervising the proper execution of administrative instructions and regulations in the subsidiary departments, policymaking to improve cultural and students affairs and improve the status quo, solving students’ problems and getting their satisfaction, developing general policies on welfare affairs, providing extracurricular programs, counseling and providing psychological services, issuing the graduates’ certificates, transferring the students to other branches of IAU, and supervising cultural affairs. The major mission of Deputy of Cultural and Students Affairs at IAU is to provide a secure environment for students’ involvement and try to fulfill the students’ needs and promote educational, cultural, and welfare affairs through understanding the students’ expectations.
